A Bain and Gray update

All the Bain & Gray news from the past few weeks

It’s been a busy few weeks for the Bain and Gray team and there’s lots of exciting updates that we want to share with you!

We celebrated our 9th birthday in September with lots of cake and a few bubbles! It’s amazing to think how far the company has come in that time. We’re now a team of 12 and we’re currently recruiting more consultants to join our exceptional team.

Emily and Claire recently gave us the Annual Report presentation, an opportunity to reflect on the past year and look ahead to the next one.

2017/18 has been our most successful year to date and we’d like to thank everyone for all their hard work in achieving this. It’s also been the year that we’ve launched our innovative loyalty scheme, The Card, which provides discounts at a selection of high-end brands for our wonderful candidates.

There were some exciting changes announced. Olivia has been promoted to Associate Director and Camilla is now our official Brand Ambassador alongside her recruitment role.

The team recently completed a staff satisfaction survey and off the back of the results, Emily and Claire have implemented some really positive benefits including Private Healthcare after one year at the company and, much to everyone’s excitement, flexible working! For a small company, this benefit is really unusual and a buddy system has been put in place to ensure the office is manned. Emily and Claire are also working on an enhanced maternity package.

We rounded off the presentation with a little prize giving which recognised all the individual strengths of the office such as candidate care for Flora, most valued support which Kath won and most missed for Tamsin who is currently on maternity leave but we hope to welcome back in Q2 next year.

After ending on a high, and clutching our happily won bottles of bubbles, we bundled into taxis and headed to Chel-ski in Fulham. Chel-ski is London’s largest indoor ski centre and one of our Card partners. We were fitted for boots and skis and hit the slopes. With a range of abilities, from those who’d never skied to those verging on pros, the instructors took it all in their stride and helped build confidence, get use to the mat and refine our technique. After working up a thirst (don’t underestimate Chel-ski – it was a full-on workout!) we headed to their Alpine Bar for some refreshing cocktails and nibbles, rounding off a really fun afternoon and with lots of positivity about the year to come.
