Charity support

Our charity support this month goes to Ed Carter who last week completed his first Half Iron Man, in Barcelona.

The course involved a 2km swim, a 90km bike ride and a 21km run and speaking to him before he said “I have a tendency to fall off when on two wheels and my swimming skills are limited to drown-prevention only; the training to date has already been eventful!

Ed entered the Barcelona Half Iron Man in memory of his godfather, Henry Worsley, who sadly lost his life trying to become the first man to cross Antarctica unaided in 2016. He succumbed only 30 miles short of his goal, covered more than 900 miles on foot/skis.

He ran to raise money for the Endeavour Fund which is an amazing charity helping wounded, injured or sick personnel and veterans through adventurous challenges to support their rehabilitation. More information can be found on the donation page.
