The good in goodbye

Staff Goodbye

This week has been full of changes in the Bain and Gray office as we said goodbye to two of our dearest team members and excitedly welcome their successors.

Kath was our first Resourcer to join the Permanent Recruitment team at Bain and Gray, and carved out the role brilliantly, becoming a fantastic addition and support to the team. Kath came to us from OMBS, so before she even set her foot in our office her skills and attitude were exceptional. Kath has been like a ray of sunshine in our office, always there to help, no task too arduous or difficult. She worked determinedly and happily through the GDPR changes last year (no mean feat) and we will all miss her hugely, especially the permanent consultants!

Kath was a ray of sunshine in the office! Kind, positive and thoughtful, with a can-do attitude and always on hand and eager to help with anything needed.  We will hugely miss her. Charlotte Orford - Permanent Recruiter

With Kath leaving us for new adventures we are excited to welcome Sinead McCurrie as her successor. Originally from South Africa with an honours in Criminology Sinead made the move over to the UK in December and has been temping with Bain and Gray until this position became available, and we knew we just needed her. On her thoughts on moving into the position and a new industry she says;

I am most looking forward to working with the wonderful team of ladies in the office. I am also looking forward to learning a new skill set and challenging myself in a completely new role. My advice to anyone thinking about getting into recruitment would be to just take the plunge and do it! I think you either know whether or not you enjoy working with people and if so, recruitment is an amazingly rewarding and ever-changing (so never boring) industry.

When she’s not working, she spends most of her time between the pages of a book, exploring new places to eat, or finding new recipes to cook with her roommate.

We are so happy to have you on board Sinead!

Our second team member to leave us this week was our Marketing manager Rosie Trousdell. Rosie came to us with a wealth of experience ranging from charity to luxury travel, but recruitment was new to her and she grabbed it with both hands! Rosie has built our brand fantastically on LinkedIn and Twitter in particular and has forged ahead building relationships with new and existing Card partners. In her time with us, Rosie has continued to build her understanding of SEO for Bain and Gray and has used her knowledge to work on our website and to write some fantastic blogs for us. We will miss Rosie but are delighted to welcome Bee, who is excited to bring her experience to Bain and Gray to continue the brilliant work Rosie has been doing.

Rosie has been a fantastic Marketing Manager for the last year, she has helped launch and promote The Card and has taken our social media following to the next level. A big thank you to Rosie for all her hard work and ideas, and we wish her well with her next projects. Claire Gray - Director

Bee has extensive experience in brand and marketing management and been working for a wide range of fantastic brands around the world. From fashion, advertising agencies to restaurants, nightclubs and the 3D and VR industries she’s excited to put all her experience into building the brand that is Bain and Gray, especially developing the exclusive Bain and Gray Card. She has big ideas and can’t wait to put them to action, so stay tuned! When she’s not working for us, she’s resuming her studies in brand psychology and enjoying her time checking off that bucket list.

Welcome to the team Bee!
