Job Description

A thriving and buzzy Investment company in St. James have a unique opportunity to join them as their Client Relationship Manager.

A wonderful job for a candidate who prides themselves on their ability to communicate and build a rapport with everyone, on all levels and from all sectors – both verbally and on paper. You will be responsible for meeting with clients and assessing they are happy with the quality of service being provided, inviting old and new clients out to lunch, documenting all client interaction and communicating it back to your team. You will always be working on enhancing client retention.

This role would suit a natural self-starter and someone with strong EQ /emotional intelligence, who is able to read between the lines in situations. Candidates must have an interest in Finance as their will be a lot to learn and take on. Ideally you will have come from a Financial service background (Asset Management /Broking/ Banking etc).

This role is office based – gorgeous brand new offices. There is a supportive and lively culture within the company, plus opportunities to upskill and train within certain areas of Finance. A fabulous opportunity!

Duties will include:

  • Conducting client facing meetings
  • Arranging new client meetings and taking detailed minutes to communicate back to managers
  • Engaging and building rapport with clients – really gaging an understanding of their business
  • Documenting all client interaction and communicating back to your team
  • Work with managers to effectively communicate client needs and translating those needs into deliverables for the team
  • Proactively finding ways to enhance the service and client retention strategies

The ideal candidate:

  • 5 years + in a client servicing role (or recruitment/ exec search)
  • Experience within Financial Services
  • Keen interest in Asset Management – Hedge Funds, Private Markets and Real Assets and hungry to learn more!
  • Ability to articulately hold a conversation and effectively build relationships
  • Perfect written English
  • Strong emotional intelligence
