Job Description

Our client, an innovative and fast-moving green energy firm, are seeking an EA to support their 5 Executives; no two days will be the same and the diaries move at lightning speed! This is a 6-month maternity cover, starting mid-January 2025. The successful EA will be predominantly supporting the CEO and COO, there is also support to the CIO, CFO and Chief of Staff. The company have a great culture and offer hybrid working. This is the perfect opportunity for an ambitious candidate that is looking to stretch their knowledge and skills and accelerate their career path.

Responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):

  • Ensure diaries are planned and organised
  • Management of timelines for Boards/Committees (including driving the agenda setting process, scheduling review time)
  • Ensuring ExCo has appropriate preparatory time for meetings and made aware of deadlines
  • Managing logistics around conference attendance/ presentations, arranging venue/invites and attending to facilitate
  • Facilitating and attending team meetings/planning days
  • Booking international and UK travel/accommodation
  • Drafting monthly expense submissions
  • Arranging, leading, and minuting weekly meetings with ExCo members

What our client is seeking:

  • Previous experience working at Director/Executive level in an EA/PA capacity
  • Proven Board/Committee timeline management – proactively developing agendas and collating papers
  • "Can do" attitude, willingness to develop new skills in accordance with business requirements and can make sound judgements
  • Excellent written communication to review draft documents as well as strong interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Ability to prioritise tasks efficiently and effectively with a strong attention to detail
  • Self-reliant, motivated, and able to work on own initiative, whilst meeting varied and time specific deadlines
  • The ability to deal with sensitive information appropriately and always show tact and discretion
  • An ability to operate in a matrix environment and deliver at pace
  • High level of computer literacy, including a comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
