Job Description

Location: Fulham Road, London (Office-based)

About the Company

A successful and growing financial services and technology group with offices across the UK and Channel Islands is looking for an exceptional individual to join its London team.

With around 90 employees, the business is well-established within its sector but retains the pace, ambition and entrepreneurial energy of a high-growth start-up. The company is entering an exciting period of expansion and offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.

The Opportunity

This is not a traditional Executive Assistant or Personal Assistant role.

The business is seeking an outstanding Executive Assistant / Business Manager to the CEO who will become a trusted right-hand person, providing high-level support while taking an increasingly active role in the wider operation of the company.

The successful candidate will combine exceptional organisational ability with commercial curiosity, sound judgement and a proactive mindset. This role goes beyond diary management and administration — it requires someone who enjoys taking ownership, improving processes, supporting projects and contributing to the overall success of the business.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys variety and wants to develop into a genuine business partner to a CEO.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted partner to the CEO, managing priorities and providing day-to-day support
  • Manage complex diaries, meetings, travel and business arrangements
  • Take ownership of projects and operational initiatives
  • Support business processes, onboarding and organisational improvements
  • Work collaboratively across different teams to ensure priorities are delivered
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and ways of working
  • Use initiative and judgement to anticipate business needs
  • Support the CEO in delivering strategic priorities and business growth
  • About You

We are looking for an exceptional candidate who is ambitious, capable and eager to make an impact.

You may currently be working as an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant, Chief of Staff Assistant, Operations Coordinator or Business Manager and are looking for a broader, more commercially focused opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience supporting C-suite executives, ideally within a boutique, founder-led or entrepreneurial environment
  • A proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to work independently
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • The confidence to take ownership and make decisions
  • Commercial awareness and an interest in understanding how businesses operate
  • A willingness to learn, adapt and get involved across multiple areas
  • A professional presence with the ability to build strong relationships

Exceptional candidates from graduate level upwards will be considered where they demonstrate strong potential, ambition and drive.

Why Join?

This is an opportunity to join a successful, growing organisation at an exciting stage of its journey. Working closely with the CEO, you will gain broad exposure across the business and have the opportunity to develop into a key operational partner as the company continues to scale.

The CEO has a strong interest in technology and AI, so the successful candidate should be naturally curious, open to learning new tools and enthusiastic about finding smarter ways of working.

If you are looking for a role where you can make a genuine impact, grow alongside a business and move beyond a traditional EA position, this is an excellent opportunity.
