Job Description

We are seeking an exceptional Executive Assistant to support the Managing Partner of a boutique private equity firm based in the heart of Mayfair. This is a rare opportunity for a commercially minded, highly strategic EA to become a true right hand in an entrepreneurial and fast-evolving environment. The role will suit someone operating at the very top of their game — proactive, resilient, emotionally intelligent and entirely unfazed by shifting priorities and high expectations. Working at the center of the business, you will act as a trusted partner to the Managing Partner, becoming instrumental to the smooth running and continued growth of the firm. 5 days a week in the office with occasional international travel required.

This is not a role for someone who waits to be asked. The successful candidate will instinctively anticipate needs, think several steps ahead and thrive in a dynamic environment where adaptability and discretion are paramount.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Acting as a true right hand to the Managing Partner, providing strategic support, gatekeeping and seamless day-to-day oversight
  • Managing an exceptionally busy and ever-changing diary, inbox and global travel schedule across multiple time zones on a personal and business basis
  • Preparing briefing packs, presentations, board materials and research to ensure the Managing Partner is fully prepared for all engagements
  • Driving projects and strategic initiatives forward, coordinating across internal teams, investors, advisors and portfolio companies
  • Supporting investor relations and global fundraising activity, including roadshows, communications and stakeholder management
  • Tracking actions, priorities and follow-ups with absolute precision, ensuring nothing slips through the cracks
  • Planning and executing high-profile events including investor dinners, AGMs and international off-sites
  • Overseeing the smooth running of the Managing Partner’s office, including expenses, confidential matters and occasional personal support

The ideal candidate:

  • Significant experience supporting at C-suite, Founder or Partner level within private equity, family office, financial start-ups or a similarly fast-paced environment
  • Incredibly proactive with strong commercial acumen and sharp judgment
  • Thick-skinned, adaptable and able to remain calm under pressure
  • Highly polished with exceptional communication skills and gravitas
  • Naturally organised with meticulous attention to detail
  • Confident managing senior stakeholders and demanding personalities
  • Able to handle confidential matters with absolute discretion
  • Thrives in an entrepreneurial, evolving environment where no two days are the same
