Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Executive Assistant to join a highly respected organisation operating within the science and healthcare sector. This is a purpose-driven organisation, working on complex challenges that have the potential to make a meaningful impact.

This is a fantastic opportunity to support a highly regarded member of the C-suite team. The position will suit someone who enjoys being at the heart of a fast-moving organisation, acting as a true right hand and ensuring everything runs seamlessly behind the scenes.

The Principal is collaborative, thoughtful and highly focused, so they are looking for an EA who is proactive, organised and adaptable, with the emotional intelligence to build a strong working partnership. This is a role where personality fit is just as important as experience.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Extensive and ever-changing diary management
  • Coordinating complex UK travel and logistics
  • Prioritising competing demands and acting as a trusted gatekeeper
  • Managing meetings, correspondence and stakeholder communications
  • Preparing documents, agendas and briefing materials
  • Providing seamless day-to-day executive support in a fast-paced environment
  • Building strong relationships across the wider business

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous Executive Assistant experience supporting senior leadership
  • Experience within the science, healthcare, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences or research sectors
  • The confidence to work within a technical environment and quickly become familiar with scientific terminology
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage changing priorities
  • A proactive, positive and naturally curious approach
  • Strong communication skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • A calm, collaborative style with high emotional intelligence
  • The flexibility to travel to another UK site on a regular basis as part of the role

This is a wonderful opportunity to join a collaborative organisation where your work will directly support meaningful scientific innovation. You'll become part of an experienced Executive Assistant community within a business that genuinely values teamwork, professional development and making a positive difference.
