Job Description

A highly impressive and successful medical research start up firm is seeking a dynamic EA to support their Founder on their everyday and business strategic needs. Based in their beautiful headquarters in Cambridge, you will be the go-to person and not only support them with traditional EA duties, but you’ll get involved in project work and events too. An incredible role, they offer great benefits and have very exciting plans for the next year.

The role itself:

  • Diary and Inbox management
  • International Travel
  • Legal and Compliance
  • Office Management
  • Design and Branding
  • Relationship management
  • Coordinating events and projects

Key things we would be looking for:

  • Ideally previous experience working in a start up
  • Used to working at a pace and be that true gate keeper
  • Muck in attitude, can ideally wear many hats
  • Strong time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (essential)
  • Financial acumen and experience with tools like Xero or similar systems (essential)
  • Familiarity with HR practices and employment regulations (desirable)
  • Project management skills with a detail-oriented mindset (essential)
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and collaboration tools (e.g., Teams, Slack) (essential)
  • Ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders (essential)
  • Experience with project management platforms like Jira (desirable)

The ideal candidate must be a down to earth, personable with a can-do attitude, who gets a real buzz on about what they do.
