Junior Researcher - Executive Search

Job Description

An excellent opportunity for a bright, ambitious graduate/ junior candidate has come up, to join a highly respected boutique Executive Search firm in Mayfair. Working within a close-knit team of experts, you'll gain exposure to senior-level recruitment across the hospitality, leisure, travel, retail and FMCG sectors, whilst developing the skills to become a future headhunter.

Unlike many entry-level opportunities, this role offers a structured training programme delivered directly by the firm's Partners and Directors. Within your first year, you'll be learning how to identify, assess and engage senior talent, becoming an integral part of the search process from start to finish.

Responsibilities will include:

• Developing a detailed understanding of each search assignment and candidate specification
• Identifying and researching target companies across hospitality, travel, leisure, FMCG and retail sectors
• Mapping markets and creating comprehensive longlists of high-calibre talent
• Conducting detailed company and candidate research
• Approaching and engaging potential candidates, introducing opportunities and assessing initial suitability
• Supporting candidate screening and participating in interviews alongside Partners
• Building strong relationships with candidates and maintaining regular communication throughout the search process
• Producing client reports, market maps, candidate profiles and presentation materials
• Maintaining accurate records and updating the firm's database and CRM systems
• Assisting with interview coordination, candidate referencing and offer processes
• Supporting business development activity through market intelligence and competitor research
• Monitoring industry news, market trends and talent movements
• Building a network of contacts and developing expertise within specialist consumer sectors

• Graduates with strong research-based degrees (desirable)
