Job Description
A unique opportunity for a PA to join a leading private firm with over $15 billion of assets under management, based in stunning offices in Marylebone. We are seeking a motivated and proactive individual who uses their initiative, has great judgement, and can prioritise well for an ambitious and dynamic Managing Director, two Directors and an Associate within a fast-paced Investment Team.
A strong emotional intelligence and collaborative work ethic is vital for their forward-thinking environment which benefits from a large and welcoming support team.
Outline of duties
- Extensive and intricate diary management that moves at pace with last minute alterations
- Arranging end-to-end travel - domestic and international
- Supporting all administrative needs and correspondence
- Relationship building with portfolio companies
- Manage team expenses
- Maintain contacts database
- Preparing documents for board meetings, VC’s and calls
- Participation in weekly team meetings
- Some aspects of personal admin
Individual’s abilities
- Work autonomously, managing ever changing, complex diaries, planning strategically and prioritising where necessary.
- Natural gravitas and meticulous attention to detail, be able to work to tight deadlines - often under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills and emotional intelligence, to work with the MD in particular as their right-hand person throughout the day
- A real team player working closely with other Assistants
- Excellent knowledge of MS office software
- Pro-active, self-starter with a flexible approach.
- Friendly and warm, quietly efficient and a modest yet confident nature.
- Graduate level or equivalent and ideally have supported at senior level, in Private Equity, Asset Management or similar background.
Terms
- Contracted hours are between 9am and 5:30pm Monday - Friday.
- Place of work is Marylebone - 5 days a week, although WFH is supported on an ad-hoc basis
