Job Description

Our client, a world-class global private investment management firm, is seeking a proactive and adaptable Reception and Team Assistant to join their busy office. This is a varied, hands-on position designed for someone who enjoys being an enabler across the business and is happy to turn their hand to whatever is needed on the day. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the office runs smoothly, while also providing meaningful support to EAs and senior team members. You will be the first point of contact for visitors while also acting as a flexible support resource across the office. Our client has gorgeous offices, with fabulous perks – they really invest and reward their team. Due to the immediate need and this being a new role, the role is temporary to permanent.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acting as Front of House, welcoming visitors, and managing the reception desk
  • Supporting meeting room coordination for internal and external meetings
  • Providing backup support to Executive Assistants, including expense processing and ad-hoc administrative tasks
  • Supporting senior team members who do not have dedicated EA support
  • Keeping on top of office supplies, stationery, and food vendors
  • Assisting the Facilities Manager as required
  • Taking a proactive, forward-thinking approach to improving processes and ways of working
  • Being a go-to problem solver – stepping in to help keep the office running smoothly

About You

  • Prior office experience in a Reception or Front of House role
  • Confident and capable of supporting Team Assistant / EA-style tasks
  • Proactive, adaptable, and happy to roll your sleeves up
  • Comfortable moving between reception duties and broader office support
  • Organised, approachable, and solutions-focused
  • Happy working in a fully office-based role
