After a summer of sunshine and showers in the UK, we were horrified to see the wildfires storming through Europe and are determined to support our woodlands across the UK.
As a business we are making a collective movement to reduce our carbon footprint with the aim to achieve carbon neutrality (no mean feat!). We sat down as a team and discussed how we will make active steps to achieve this, together we knew we wanted to support a UK based charity as for the most part our team, candidates and clients are London based.
With the hustle and bustle of London and working at a desk we all appreciate the green spaces that London has to offer, whether it be walking home through Green Park or making the most of The Pear Tree in Battersea Park!
So, our next question was – how do we support, protect, and create our woodland, not just in London but across the UK?
After thorough research we knew The Woodland Trust was right for us – The Woodland Trust protect woods and trees, preventing the loss of habitat, nature, and carbon stores for a healthier future. They restore woodland, restoring irreplaceable ecosystems, they create quality native woods to benefit, climate and people. They care for over 1,000 woods – keeping them open for us to explore and enjoy!
