For Bain and Gray this means a company strategy where Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging are front and centre, internally with our colleagues and with our candidates and clients. With our breadth of knowledge in the market and our continuous strive for improvement in all that we do, we are best placed to be trusted allies with our clients and candidates.
We are able to share the benefits of our experience and success in this area. We keep ourselves aware and educated through ongoing EDIB training that means we can put plans into place that keep us ahead of our competitors. We work in close partnership with one of recruitment's leading EDIB trainers to achieve this strategic business goal for Bain and Gray.
We conduct 'Round Tables' on EDIB with our clients, trouble shooting on challenges and offering insightful solutions to both the recruitment process and managing the office environment.
We work closely with clients to enhance their own diversity, equity and inclusion efforts, from working with you to draft job descriptions with diverse language and experience requests, to compiling a diverse interviewing strategy for your organisation to developing score card criteria to assess potential hires and keep yourselves unbiased.
The real key to a successful business strategy based around EDIB is is the inclusion piece, there is little point in recruiting diverse teams if new members do not feel like there is a welcoming, inclusive environment to work in.
Bain and Gray have recently partnered with the inspirational charity, Astriid.
Astriid’s primary goal is help those with long-term health conditions find work. This forms part of the conversation on diversity and inclusion as it champions a pool of talent that is so often overlooked. Astriid has provided comprehensive training to the team at Bain and Gray so we can begin to break down the barriers in recruitment for those long term health conditions. As a result Bain and Gray now aims to become part of the disability confident scheme.
