Job Description

We are working with a brand-new client, an inspiring start-up whose aim is to accelerate climate action within the financial services. They are seeking a seasoned EA to join their friendly and collaborative team and provide support for their COO.

Located in beautiful offices in the City, the team have a hybrid working model. Due to the immediate start this is a temp role with a strong possibility of transitioning into a permanent role.

Our client is in an exciting stage of business growth; therefore the successful candidate will have previous C-suite experience whilst project management skills, and be excited by the opportunity for career development. This is a varied, fast paced, and demanding role, where attention to detail, excellent communication skills and working efficiently is essential.

The COO truly believes in investing and nurturing their team and is looking for an EA who can assist them with a number of projects across the business as well as coordinating their team of 9.

What you will be doing:

  • Manage the COO’s inbox ensuring actions are followed up and respond on COO’s behalf.
  • Manage the COO’s diary (anticipate and respond to issues before and as they arise).
  • Proactively engaging with stakeholders and team members.
  • Coordinate with the team to schedule multi-stakeholder meetings.
  • Prepare the COO for meetings – collate materials, researching profiles of attendees, brief and / or debrief the COO.
  • Arrange travel, accommodation, and other logistics for the COO.
  • Lead engagement with Board of Directors and Investment Committee.
  • Minute meetings and follow up on actions.

Required:

  • Natural decision-maker, with an ability to think under pressure and display excellent judgement.
  • Exemplary English language knowledge with clear, concise, communication skills.
  • Highly organised, innovative, proactive, and able to use your own initiative.
  • Excellent understanding of technology - comfortable with diary planners and project management tools (e.g. Asana) and Microsoft Office software.
