In order to make yourself ahead of the game, here are a few top tips for Temporary PA’s.
Brush up on your skills - making sure you are confident with all of the MS office packages is a great way to prepare yourself ahead of any temporary work. If you have a creative flare, a short course in InDesign can be a great addition to your CV.
Make sure you are easily reachable - whenever we register candidates we stress the importance of being easy to contact. Temporary roles move very quickly so missing that call could mean losing out on an exciting new position.
Refresh your CV - make sure your CV is looking it’s absolute best. Updating any recent temporary roles can also really help to fill any gaps.
Update your work wardrobe – make sure you have a suitable selection of workwear at the ready.
Home setup for virtual work – Make sure you have a suitable workspace with a professional background ahead of any virtual roles. This is also recommended for any virtual interviews in order to give off a good impression.
Contact your referees – Now is a great time to check in with your referees ahead of any possible contact.
