Graduate Information

Focusing your search specifically on graduate and first jobs straight away puts you in the right market.  Potential employers are looking for you because of the skills and experiences that you have.  The salary will be at the right level and the expectations and opportunities in a role will be pitched at the right level for your experience.  Over the past few years, the market for graduate office jobs has improved considerably and there’s much more out there.  Young innovative companies in the new technology sector and online retail and service platforms are especially keen to recruit and nurture young and hungry talent into their businesses.

Salary Information

Each year, we conduct a salary survey to benchmark earnings across industries. You can find it here.  This will give you a good indication of what you can expect to earn as a minimum and maximum salary relevant to the job you are looking for.  It is important to remember that different industries do command different salaries and you must keep in sight what it is that you really want.  If you are very keen to gain experience in a more creative environment or company you will probably get some great experience, but not as high salary as you can expect to get in the financial and corporate world.  Bain and Gray consultants can give you the right guidance and advice with this as part of your registration process, so you know what is out there and what to expect.
